Fasting is required for this test - no food for at least 8 hours before sample collection. Drink only water during this time.

- Print off the referral and take it to any of the pathology collection centres listed on our collection centres page. No appointment necessary — just walk in with your referral.
- The pathology centre will process your test panel and iMedical will email and SMS your results within 24-48 hours.

More Information
Private NATA accredited self-request pathology services available to order at any time without having to visit a GP. This is a private service (no Medicare rebate). Upon receiving your order, iMedical will email a pathology collection referral. Once you have attended a collection centre, your results will be sent directly to you by email and SMS. iMedical will direct you to appropriate medical care if there is anything abnormal in your test results.
Full Blood Count: Haemoglobin (hb), RBC, PCV, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, HCT, White Cell Count, Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, Basophils, Platelets, MPV. Some labs may omit some markers such as MPV unless abnormal.
Liver Function (LFT): Total Protein, Albumin, Alkaline Phosphatase, Total Bilirubin, Gamma GT, AST, ALT.
Kidney Function (UEC): Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Urea, Creatinine, eGFR.
Lipid Studies: Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Non-HDL, Triglycerides, LDL/HDL Ratio, Chol/HDL Ratio.
Glucose Fasting: Measures blood glucose levels. Helpful for screening or monitoring diabetes.
Magnesium - Serum: Evaluates magnesium levels to assess kidney function, digestive disorders, or chronic conditions.
CRP High Sensitivity: Detects low levels of inflammation that may indicate cardiovascular disease risk.
Creatine Kinase (CK): Elevated levels indicate muscle damage or stress.
